Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Engineer to join our dynamic team in Penang. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving software development excellence, fostering continuous improvement, and bringing innovation into both software and hardware products. Your expertise in .NET, .NET Core, Java, Vue, and open-source technologies, combined with proficiency in Git for source code management, will contribute to the success of our development team. Familiarity with MSSQL and Oracle SQL is essential, including the ability to design and optimize database queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive excellence in software development by contributing to the specification, design, implementation, and testing of features, and implement new functionalities using .NET, .NET Core, Java, Vue, and other open-source technologies.
  • Implement unit tests for comprehensive coverage, ensuring code quality and early issue identification in development.
  • Guide technology decisions, advocate best practices, and enhance team working practices for continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and share knowledge to foster the technical skillset growth and contribute to overall team skill development.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with MSSQL and Oracle SQL, including designing and optimizing queries.
  • Proficiently use Git and other source code management tools for efficient source code management.
  • Actively involved in project implementation activities.
  • Work within a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to ensure efficient and effective software development practices.

Job Qualifications

  • The candidate must possess at least a degree related to the information technology field (software).
  • At least have 1 year of working experience in the related field, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Having experience developing and maintaining a corporate website is an added plus.
